Another Day as a Hokie

"From the outside looking in, you can never understand it. From the inside looking out, you can never explain it. Virginia Tech is more than a school...it's my home and family. Our campus does not deserve this heartbreak."

I am so proud of my brother, a VT graduate who was on campus April 16th. I am so thankful for him and the Hokie Nation. While I look forward to my travels, I am savoring the last few days of the semester and look forward to my return in the fall.

A Brief Look Back Before a Large Jump Forward

This summer I had the amazing opportunity to spend two weeks in Turkey and Greece with my grandmother, the one and only Mumee. Before I start my next adventure I would like to look back on a few pictures from this wonderful trip.

A view from Istanbul, looking at Hagia Sophia from the Blue Mosque

Standing guard at the Mausoleum of Ataturk

A view from our hot air balloon in the Cappadocia region

 A friendly shepherd

 Poppies...opium anyone? Jk, jk.

  Ruins of Hierapolis

The boat for our cruise on the Mediterranean

 What a feast!
